Connect a Salla store

Install the Inboxy app from the Salla App Store, which permissions it uses, how the connection code works and what to switch off in Salla to avoid duplicate messages.

Inboxy connects to Salla as an app installed from the Salla App Store. Salla shows the data the app needs, you approve it, and Inboxy picks up the link by itself.

What you need

  • On Salla: permission to install apps in Salla.
  • An Inboxy account manager. Only the account admin can connect the store.

Connect it

  1. In Easy Setup, on the store step, pick “Salla”. Later, open “E-Commerce” and press “Connect a store”. Press “Open the Salla App Store”.
  2. Open Inboxy in the Salla App Store. It opens while you are signed in to Salla.
  3. Press “Install” and approve the permissions. Salla lists the data Inboxy needs.
  4. We pick up the link automatically. If the Inboxy app inside Salla asks for a connection code, copy the one Inboxy shows under “Connection code (if Salla asks for it)” and paste it there.

Already installed? Open Inboxy from Installed apps in Salla.

Permissions Inboxy uses

Salla lists the data the app needs before you press install. Inboxy uses the permissions for:

AreaWhat Inboxy uses it for
Orders (read and update)“Read orders”; “Update order status when the customer confirms or cancels”.
Products“Read products, prices and stock”, so the AI assistant answers from your store.
Customers“Read customers”, so a conversation shows that customer’s orders.
Store events (webhooks)“Receive live events (new order, status change)”.

After connecting, the store page shows “Granted permissions” as Salla reports them. For permissions Salla does not name clearly (abandoned carts, discount codes, live events) the page shows “Not confirmed” rather than guessing.

Avoid duplicate messages

  • Salla’s own cart reminders: Salla offers its own reminders. If enabled, turn them off in Salla settings so the customer does not get two reminders.
  • Status updates: If Salla messages are sent through Inboxy from the Salla communication app, the customer may get the status update twice. Turn off the “order status update” message in Salla settings before you start.

What works on Salla

If the connection does not complete

  • Your account is linked to another Salla store. Disconnect it from “Stores” first.
  • The link with Salla did not complete. Open the Inboxy app inside Salla and try again.
  • The connection code has expired. Open the Salla App Store again to get a new code.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting in Inboxy does not remove the Inboxy app from your Salla dashboard; remove it there too if you want. What stops and what is kept is listed in Connect your store. Still stuck? Contact support.
