Connect an Easy Orders store

Connect Easy Orders with a secure approval or an API key, what the approval screen lists, and what Inboxy can and cannot do on Easy Orders today.

Content last checked:

Inboxy connects to Easy Orders through Easy Orders’ own install-app page, where you review the permissions and press Allow. If you prefer, you can connect with an API key instead.

What you need

  • On Easy Orders: an Easy Orders seller account.
  • An Inboxy account manager. Only the account admin can connect the store.

Connect with Easy Orders

  1. In Easy Setup, on the store step, pick “Easy Orders”. Later, open “E-Commerce” and press “Connect a store”.
  2. Press “Connect with Easy Orders”. Easy Orders’ install-app page opens; sign in if asked.
  3. Review the permissions and press “Allow”. The page lists every permission Inboxy asks for before you approve.
  4. You come back here automatically. We receive the link and register order notifications; then the sync starts.

Or connect with an API key

Have an API key? Connect with the key instead. The steps:

  1. Open your Easy Orders seller dashboard. Account settings → Public API.
  2. Copy the API key. If there is no key, press “Create key” on the same page.
  3. Paste the key here. We check it at once before saving.

If the key is rejected: The key is not valid. Copy it again from Account settings → Public API. Keys do not expire: the store page shows “Keys that do not expire”.

Permissions

The page lists every permission Inboxy asks for before you approve. Inboxy uses them to read orders, customers and products and to receive order notifications, which it registers when the connection completes. Easy Orders does not report which permissions were granted, so the store page shows “Not confirmed” rather than claiming them.

What works on Easy Orders

  • Order confirmation. A confirmed order can be moved back to the “Pending” status in Easy Orders, or only recorded in Inboxy, whichever you choose.
  • Order update messages: five of the six. Easy Orders sends no “out for delivery” stage, so that card is not available.
  • Not available: abandoned-cart reminders (Easy Orders does not send abandoned carts) and discount codes (Easy Orders has no coupon interface Inboxy can use).

If the connection does not complete

  • Easy Orders rejected the connection. Press “Connect with Easy Orders” again, or connect with an API key.
  • We could not save the key. Try again.
  • The link has expired. Start the connection again.

Disconnecting

Disconnecting in Inboxy does not remove Inboxy from your Easy Orders account; remove it there too if you want. What stops and what is kept is listed in Connect your store. Still stuck? Contact support.
